Melissa Davison-Wood, joined the organization in the fall of 2021. Melissa has over 15 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and co-occurring illnesses.

Before joining MARC, Melissa was the Senior Director of Developmental Services for Catholic Charities- Archdiocese of Hartford. Over the past fifteen years, she has worked at every level, starting in residential programs and eventually holding higher management positions. Melissa has focused on learning the industry, agency operations, and best practices to ensure her community’s well-being, health and to encourage productive lives.

She firmly believes that all individuals, regardless of diagnosis, must be active, respected, and contributing members of their communities. They deserve to advocate for their own beliefs and be empowered to lead their own lives.

Melissa received a Bachelor of Criminology from the University of Tampa and a Master of Human Services degree concentrating in Clinical Counseling from Post University. Melissa is also a graduate of Dale Carnegie’s Leadership Management Program.

When not at MARC, you can find Melissa spending time with her two children and husband at the hockey rink.

Maureen Cardone joined MARC in early 2024.  She has been in the accounting field for over 30 years, focusing on the non-profit sector since 2006. 

Maureen worked in the insurance industry before deciding to make the change to the non-profit sector.  Before joining MARC, Maureen held prior positions overseeing Finance and HR with organizations caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and physical disabilities.   

She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from UCONN.   

Maureen resides in Farmington, Connecticut, with her husband and two daughters.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with them and reading.

Donnalynn Notaro

Donnalynn Notaro, MARC’s most extended executive team member, serves as the Vice President of Human Resources. 

She joined MARC in 1995 as a Residential Manager and, in 1997, was promoted to run the Human Resources department. She has been in her current role since March 1, 2004. 

Donnalynn graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a degree in Sociology. She has worked with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in various roles for over 35 years. 

Donnalynn resides in Wethersfield and has two daughters. She enjoys spending time with them and her family and looks forward to their Rhode Island vacations every summer.

Lori Lodge is a development professional who analyzes the needs of an organization and then develops a coherent strategic plan that helps move the organization forward. Through storytelling, she helps bring the mission and the organization’s needs to life. Her dedication to building strong relationships and meeting the philanthropic needs of donors, community partners, and funders is the key to her success.

Having received her BSN from Nazareth College, Lori began her career in Nursing.  Now, with more than 20 years in non-profit leadership in Development and 15 years in private sector leadership, Lori is a visionary leader and strong team player. She is respected for her trustworthy voice in decision-making, organizational skills, and consensus-building. She has established her spot as a respected team and community member.

Lori has returned to IMPACT, Inc. after leading the Development Office of the Northern Middlesex YMCA. She successfully grew all campaign contributions and foundation and grant funding to unprecedented levels during her tenure. With a focus on educating donors on various giving options, she successfully aligns donors’ philanthropic wishes with giving vehicles.

Giving back to the community is in Lori’s blood. Lori is a longtime member of the Kiwanis Club of Middletown, where she has served as President of the Club, and a longtime member of the Middlesex United Way’s Women’s Initiative, where she has served as Chairwoman and on the Board of Directors. She is currently the Chairperson of the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce Ambassador program. She has served on the oversight committee for a nature preserve in her hometown for more than 20 years.

In her spare time, Lori enjoys traveling with her husband. When her two children are in town, she enjoys playing board games and hiking with them and her husband.
